Hi guys

Got a new skybox f3 all set up but it wont connect to the router via a cable, orange light, any help please or advice

Go to tools in the skybox menu then to network local setting..inside select ethernet device and turn DHCP on..and click apply...reboot the box then...see if that sorts it out..!!

hay had this prob my self do factory rest then upgrade the sofwear worked 4 me mate

A factory reset may solve the issue..but you might loose the gift you have there...if you do...you might want to speak to the person who sold you the box if he can send you a new set of files to install once you do factory reset..!!

Check your Ethernet cable and Router connection. I would have thought that anyone who pre-loaded a server would have at least tested it.

lincsat very true plus wright down your sever line down so u alll ways have easy to put your self

the orange light on your router means its connected on a 100 Mbps connection and not 1Gbps connection as the skybox will only run on a 100Mbps so this is OK... If you are running on C**am on the box you will need to go to the network settings menu - Select the settings menu and press 6666 this should activate the C**am. restart the box for good measurer and you should be good to go
