updating channel list

Do I need to delete the existing channel list before adding new one from usb?

No just go to tools, upgrade by usb, misc files, press ok to select tp_prog.dbs and then press yellow to flash it to the box and then reboot.

every time I do that then go to exit it says no channels and I have to scan again

have you rebooted after the flash mate? give that ago, if not should be there after you have done that.
