pushing usb and screen+ keys opens the newcamd menue. 16 servers/1 port each are available, hence max 16 3rd party packages can be opened on top of the publicly available ones.

after having obtained server access data from your 3rd-party provider, type in server name = dns of your server (with server ip dns set to on), or numeric server ip in server ip (if dns is set to off).
port, user id and password will have been provided by your provider - type it in the appropriate spaces.
disregard emm, but set protocol to newcamd - and if your provider has cleared you, the leading light indicator will switch from red to yellow/green and you should have pictures now.

the use of the the red, green and yellow keys are self-explanatory, but note: it happens that you'll get freezes or black screen on some packages sometimes - this has got nothing to do with the box but is due to the 3rd party server capacity and/or performance/connectivity. use red key to reset server connection - it does help!

    enjoy
That's all i was looking for thankyou man

Right this is what i have in that menu! and what i have wrote that the provider gave me! (but of course i'll leave the details out )

    Server name ?????

    sever ip DNS on 0.0.0.0

    Port ????

    User ID ????

    Password ????

    DES Key 01 01 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    EMM Disabled

    Protocol NewCamd

I reboot (turn box off then back on) but channels are scrambled.

The server 1 has a yellow light, this should be green!

What could be the problem? the internet is pluged in.
It says conneting then not connected.

    Thanks alot

    Regards

    Mark.

Hi really not too sure what the problem is now, but on setup below for internet settings it says newcamd is usually turned off, maybe follow instructions to it and try turning it on see if that does owt, failing that try asking about the problems again under general satellite threads and someone may be able to assist you a bit more, General Satellite TV also found this on the forum http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...l-list-245298/

If you press MENU ***8211; INTERNET and only 4 options are available you need to press EXIT and then press Menu 8888 to activate all the menus. Select INTERNET again there should now be 6 options.

Under MENU - INTERNET set the following:-

      NETWORK CONNECTION ON

AUTO UPDATE CHECK ON (T59 or later software only. Each time you turn on your box it will check to see if new software and/or keys are available, if they are read the onscreen information and select UPDATE to update)

      Under NETWORK INFORMATION set
DHCP/STATIC to DHCP (If IP address is all zeros set to static then back to DHCP, IP ADDRESS, SUBNET MASK and GATEWAY address should fill in automatically) PVR server IP address is your PC IP address but is only used if your are running the record to PC Hard disk software.

NEWCAMD is normally set to OFF.

Under PROXY CONNECTION set PROXY CONNECTION to OFF.

S/W UPGRADE, go to S/W UPGRADE section to make this setting and use this feature.

When watching a channel press the MENU button to confirm BT, SW, and K.

Whilst on a channel press OK, then BLUE button, for further information.
If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

I don't have * on my remote so i can't add the it to activate the extra menu.

        Cheers.
