M3 Loading Loop

I recently fitted in a m3 for a friend and it would not work when RG6 cable was plugged in (Was loading to 100 and then re-loading itself to 100). When it was unplugged it comes on fine.

I put a new cable up to LnB would that cause it (Re-checked and made new connections on cable thou) or could the LnB need changing?

Any help appreciated
