s11 signal ok but sky box no signal?

Hello, i have strange situation. all our residence receive there sky through multiswitching the same dish. all our sky services was being received & all working as normal but then after a storm the dish got nocked out of alignment, after correctly pointing it back to the satellite, all the sky boxes now showing as "no signal". but using an openbox with the sub card inside all channels are being received & cleared just fine.
Any ideas welcome..

so what did they correctly aim the dish with?

unsure, but as the openbox is receiving i have to assume its correctly positioned. i just find it strange that all the supplied sky boxes just say no signal on screen (not even showing anything within the settings menu) i think they might be more sensitve, allowing no deviation from slight misalignments of the dish. another thought, could it be that there limited power within the output cables ie multiswitch at fault. are the openboxes designed diff to counteract this does anyone know?

Who would come to realign a shared dish to then actually leave with everybodies Sky digibox having no signal? Surely the person doing it would have checked at least one persons box...

i have the exactly same problem believe it or not as we have scaffolding up at the moment and the openbox is ok for this but no signal on sky box. I have been onto the sky website and followed there instructions to reset the box and settings but no luck there. I have noticed the 'cowboy' workers have put 2 joints extendes on the cable but doubt this is the fault as im using the same dish for my openbox which works ok
