Clone safe firmware for a Skybox S12

Am awaitng my Skybox S12 from China which i know is a clone, can somebody point me in the right direction for the right firmware for a clone Skybox S12 as I dont want to brick the box, am use to the Dreambox(clone) so just looking to add a budget box to the bedroom..

Any help would be great...

I would just leave the firmware that comes with it.
Definitely back it up 100% if you do decide to change firmwares.As always,newer firmware isn't automatically better.
