s11 still clone with chip id 085B

hi all' can my openbox s11 still be a clone even though its got a genuine chip id 085B' my last one died after so many reboots and showed the message clone but had a valid chip id 085B.

Is it showing this id after you run the software to check clones or before? my advice if it's an s11 then check the software that is already on the box, if it's late 2011 software leave it be and run it as it is, there's nowt worth upgrading for anyway.

c2hs2-11-10-10:0579cmt is on it at the moment but that was on the last one i had that died but showed genuine chip id but also had FFFF sometimes

10-10-11 is allright f/w, if this is the original f/w that the box came supplied with i would leave that on it, load a channel list or do a sat scan, if it buggers up after 10 reboots take it back to were you got it from and demand a refund.

the last one that died, and this one, did you change the firmware before it died? and do you mean mechanically died? or just the clone message
