open box s10 problem

I can't shutdown from the remote my box. i press the power key front panel display off but box is working . why this ? box is can shutdown from backside switch only
please help me

had the opposite problem once.
you could turn off the receiver with the remote but couldn't turn it back on with the remote.It was old firmware so I just updated to a firmware that worked.

I've just started getting this problem. I put box into standby using remote but the box still playing the channel i was watching and now the buttons on front panel do not work and i have to switch off from the switch on the rear. I have update the firmware to newer version as mine was older and still have a problem.

Remove any USB devices and try, I had a standby issue once and that was the resolution.
