s.11 flaming knackered.

so i was watching my openbox today, and it just went off.

now it makes a weird kinda noise and doesnt show anything on the display panel i have tried moving the wires slightly, but to no avail.

i need help i miss my sat telly

it could possibly be faulty power supply,open box up and inspect caps on power board,if caps look raised and black on the silver tops this could be the problem,look on fleabay i have seen s11 power boards for ?15.00 quite an easy fix worth a try..

Hi

Sounds like the power supply but before you order one and if you are handy with a multimeter then I would check what the voltages are on the mobo end and see if its getting correct voltages.

If not then check on the psu end and see what its showing to confirm that its knackered then order one.

i had a quick look none of the tops looked raised or black

you could also check front panel,could be loose ribbon cable..
