    CCcam openbox s11

    Hi to everyone snd good afternoon.
    Please could someone explain how to get my box up and running. I have followed the threads here but cant grasp it. In fact it's sending me quite mad.
    I am trying to use the test cccam line that.s on the little booklet that came with the box. NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL
    Each time I go to update by usb it says cccam not found but I know its on the usb as I can see it when its in my pc. I've tried putting it in manually but no joy there. It's getting me down and making me ratty. I am so dissapointed with this whole thing that I am thinking of dropping it in the rubbish bin.
    I'm doing my best to fix the thing but not getting anywhere, any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards: Bob

    file should say cccam.cfg

    also you can use the remote control and manually add it instead of usb.
    If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

      Hi Thanks for replying. Yes sir I have tried using remote but says file not found. I formatted usb Renamed file as CCam.cfg and copied info from booklet. Any Idea where I'm going wrong?

        not theres a c missing from your file? CCcam.cfg, if you go to menu with your remote,
        menu
        network setup
        cccam client
        manage config files
        cccam.cfg
        blue = add
        then on the lines, cccam looks like C: host 1200 user pass
        protocol = cccam
        host = host
        port =1200
        user = user
        pass = pass
        yellow button will save the info
        then go back to manage cccam and it should be there, select it to place a tick and exit all the way, reboot the box and it should be working

        Am i allowed to put this? let me know if not and i will remove it quick sharp

          Thanks again, I've been doing what you say but when I restart it and go to manage files it says its there but offline or not active even though I have pressed green and the tick is in the box. Could it be the server thats offline and my box is ok? I am trying to use test line from instruction manual.

          If I have got the box working ok please tell me what I must do to get a working cee line file. I will buy one if its not too expensive.
          Thanks for help
