Openbox S16 any good?

I am about to buy a new box, was looking at the F3 but I notice there is a newer box, the S16, doing the rounds.
Couldn't find much info. about it, but apparently the 'as shipped' firmware is very poor, does anyone know of an in-depth review?

There has been a few comments on forums that it's not compatible with HD channels on the Sky UK satellite, even if you have a good C Line.
