X3 and WIFI will not connect

Just got a X3 and wifi stick
trying to connect to a plusnet router (Thomson)
all i ever get is time out
even took all security off so open no wpa or wpa2
any ideas
Its the official skybox usb dongle

I couldn't get it connected either I bought some homeplugs off flea bay ?19 and a Ethernet to the box ?3 works a treat now iv given you a tut on the fav editor pal on aj's list

I put the wifi USB back on flea bay got ?8 back for it
