open box clone or not

how do i tell if the openbox i have is a clone or original?

I could do with knowing so i know what firmware i need to install onto it. will clone firmware work on an original box and vice versa?

cheers for that but i'm still none the wiser m8, the open box i got is s11. I do actually think its a clone as its keeps switching itself off when i try and drive my dish east ARGGGGH, is there a decent firmware out there for a clone??
