you can back up your cccam.cfg by dump to usb if your worried about loosing it, then install a new channel list. Delete all channels then install new one, reboot and that should be it. Apart from sorting out your regional channels.

i dont think updating channel list will mess cccam up but not 100% sure, so back it up 1st..
If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

If you use a channel list from here it will replace your exhisting channels list completely, not add to it.. If it is purely a channel list it shouldnt change anything else on the box..

Doing anything like updating the box via usb carries an element of risk, so...

Backup your box to USB before you do anything, create a system image and also all the seperate files that can be backed up, then put it all safe somewhere..

dump to usb. then select what you want to back up and it will then save it on the usb dongle, unplug it and save it on your computer incase anything ever goes wrong.

newer firmware won't let you dump the cccam.cfg, thank the dealers for that. You can load, but not dump.

if you go to menu - tools dump to usb option will be in there, but it wont show up until usb is plugged it, i must of been lucky as i haven't come across any f/w that did not have the dump to usb option,
