Skybox S12 Turns off

Hello newbie to all this, but I have a S12 Starts up fine works for about 20-30 mins then the screen goes blank ans says no hdmi also the unit is then frozen and has to be reset , tried running fan off the USB to keep unit cool but still happens
Any idea what's up

Dunno, but if it was me I would try upgrading firmware if an update is newer that whats on it already, and then if problem still persists I would also try a different Power adapter..

Think I found the problem I hope the hdmi output was at 1080i I have put it to 720 and sofar so good. The good old process of elimination
Also think Firmware is latest

Ummm, 1080i output setting shouldnt be the problem. If running it at 720p stops your problem then your box must be faulty, as it is meant to be capable of 1080i output..

yeah think it is the box as i have reset it and it auto selected 1080 then reinput my channels, all seemed fine now its started again but its so random as it can last for hours then turns the screen off, but sometimes it can be 20 mins sometimes it resets its self seems so strange.
