Skybox F3 MGcamd Setup Help

Right where to start.. I have Skybox f3 currently using CCcam for free trials to see which is best PPV server for sly. I noticed bit of freezing which in the end leaves me undecided which place to get premium server.

I did bit of searching and some sites saying MGcamd can be better performance. So how do i start using MGcamd instead of CCcam, do i have to edit any files? when given a free trial cline do i put it as a N-cline in CCcam.cfg or CWS in newcamd.list is it called?.

I am new to this so i will say odd/wrong things.

What if I wanted to use mgcamd as the client to connect to a CCcam server? do i need to mess around with the mg_cfg?

Thanks do i need to touch the mg_cfg file at all?

i tried removing C: and putting cws = and put into the newcamd.list nothing seemed to happen guess ill be sticking with cccam

To benefit from mgcamd, you need to use mgcamd as the client, and the server you're using needs to support mgcamd.

Just use CCCam and put your cline in the cfg with notepad, update via usb, select CCCam.cfg, then check Active, hit exit and power the box off-on with remote.

i have been giving this box (F3) a run out. found it a lot more stable on mgcamd, i put my details in via remote control,

Im the opposite, best set up i have found is using CCcam which up until now has been completely stable and freeze free

I am currently using a server which supports both cccam and mgcamd. They prefer the client to use mgcamd as they dont officially support cccam.

I can add the c line to cccam via USB no problem and it works ok.

What doesnt work, When i add the CWS= line into newcamd.list and put it on usb, when i select manage, then add, says no newcamd.list found.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Can someone help me setup a mgcamd , i have added everything in newcamd.list but i dont see the mg_cfg file on my skyboxf5
