Backup firmware question

Hi i have renamed all my favorites. if i take a dump of my firmware will the favorite names also save to the firmware? just saves alot of time when i put the firmware on a family members box. thanks

Probably not... The Favourites lists will be maintained, but their titles will probably revert back to "Favourites 1" "Favourites 2" etc etc so it'll just be them you need to rename which isnt too time consuming..

it has an option system settings (in merge) if i select this will it work then?

I opened the full .abs firmware in alieditor v3.03 selecting user data base initially and edited a few favorites as a test.I then saved, selecting user data base.I saved again,this time selecting default data base.This makes both equal.I loaded the firmware via lan manager and the favorites were the same old names.I then did a factory default,now the favorites were the same names as I edited with alieditor.This was with old clone safe firmware.Newer or older firmware should be the same results.
