Skybox F4 GPRS Guide

I have just purchased a Skybox F4 receiver. As it is very similar to the F3 I have set it up with no problems with AJs channel lists. However, I am not able to set up the GPRS element of the box. I have inserted a sim card and in settings it says GPRS OK with a signal level of around 20. However, when I try and view channels they remain scrambled. I was looking to enter the APN details in the skybox but I can't do this. Does anyone have information or a guide to help me. Thanks.

Hi, sorry don't have any info but I'm interested in getting one. Is yours black or silver & does it have a LAN port as some advertised don't seem to have them in the pictures of the back of em.

Despite the pictures and the description it is the silver box. It does have an LAN port which I am currently using. I think it was an earlier prototype which didn't have the LAN port. I brought the box from BLOOMAX at Aliexpress. It took one day for payment to clear, three days to be processed and 36 hours to be delivered via DHL. The price I paid was $79 but the price has now increased from this seller to $105. Luckily, I didn't have to pay custom duties but this hit and miss.

what is gprs sharing

Do they connect to the European GSM network? I thought they were for the US phone network which uses different frequencies.

im up and runing using ethernet cable but im unable to configure gprs.

in the menu its says GPRS OK signal status 18 but channels still coming up as scramble

working fine with ethernet...

using giff gaff sim...

any help pls...

Yes mate you will need to configure it , iv not used that SIM card yet however I have ordered one hoping it comes today

Hi,

I am trying to put it to work with portuguese providers but i don't inderstand the two config fields.

Can anyone send me the changes made to work with uk providers so i can compare to portuguese configurations and try to understand the data to put un those fields.
