hello guys,

i have the openbox x3, and the wifi usb, its on single security mode the router to WPA2, however it still does not connect, also tried wifi tethering with iphone no joy, also disabled all security of router still no joy, upgraded to the lastest firmware think its 24/08/2012, still not working, gonna try wifi dongle in latptop now, will report if laptop connects at least that will confirm that wifi usb is working!

update! cant find drivers for Vista!!! so usb wifi wont recognise!

Try these xp, vista & win7 wifi drivers... Ralink-A MEDIATEK COMPANY Win 7 driver connects and works fine on my laptop so its not the dongle at fault, but when plugged into the M3 it still will not connect. Sounds like the F3/M3 & X3 all have the same wifi connection problem, and I cant connect via Ethernet either. I was wondering if it has anything to do with the ISP. My ISP is TalkTalk, who are you with?

Is there anyone out there with a Skybox F3, M3 or X3 that can connect to the internet via WiFi?

P.S.
I returned it and asked to swap for the F3... Looks like I will have the same problem. Will let you know how I get on.
