Please Help with skybox f3

Hi all,i recently purchased an f3 box,it came with a "gift" i scanned channels it found them ok but all the paid ones were scrambled.I foolishly messed around with it done a factory reset etc.but now i am stuck.if anyone can give me some advice on how to start again from scratch i.e files i need like software, cccam set up or point me in the right direction cos i dont know which software to use,i did try scoobysnax firmware but the cccam files were not active,could this be why i am coming up with scrambled channels.any help would be great.Thanks

If you did factory reset without doing anysort of backup first then you have wiped out your "gift" , the only way you'll get that again is to contact your supplier...

Always do a full backup of your box before changing settings or loading files to it...

Oh thanks for the reply seems i have wiped it offthe box as i did not back it up..

i think i am missing a cccam.cfg file any idea where i can obtain one as i have deleted mine by mistake.

Its just a text file named CCcam.cfg
You can create one with Notepad...

Or if you have details fom original gift you can just type in on box, takes 2 mins

Seems you learn by your mistakes,i never backed up the box,so the f4ree gift has gone,Emailed the guy who i bought it from on fleabay and he saying now there is no free gift when it says there was in his advertisement.Oh well looks like i have been had ..Just another quick question if i bought another box ie online working then could i copy the software from the working one to the one which isnt working to get it online?

Why do you want to buy another box? Just get that one working, it's easy

Some seller online said i needed another box and it comes with 12 months sub,if i do not have the original gift then what are my options?

In short no ... Be set up as 1 sealion per box unless seller is really thick

If he's selling boxes with gift on eBay, he must be thick as shite, anyone could buy one, like some person from sly etc, then all his customers are ****ed.

If it's within the time to dispute with eBay, I would do that and get refund

Gazzaman, how much did you pay for this box? If you paid around 50 quid for it then I'd say you only bought a box, no gift... If you paid 100 quid or more for it then I'd say you bought a box with gift, so go back to your supplier and insist he sorts you out..
