how do you put american satellites on openbox 10. thanks in advance

some old firmwares had american sat lists,you can grab from that.

Or go to the satellite list in menu and press green(i think) to add new sats, then type in the sat name and position, select it then do a blind scan.

The circular polarized sats would be a nuisance to blindscan,since they would scan double the true h and v transponders.

Alot of deleting channels too if your putting that many sats on, the box only holds 5000 channels, mine was full off 4 or 5 satellites and had to delete loads. If your only looking for certain channels, may be better to go to kingofsat.net and find the tp's of the channels then manually scan just the one tp at a time... or use the pvr800 editor to make a decent list up for yourself.
Sounds like alot of time and effort; but that's about the only thing you can play about with on an openbox so make the most of it, it's all good fun
