skybox f3 c/a slot settings

I've got a skybox f3 and tested all the features and it is working fine. Now i just need to test the card slot, i have a genuine s*y card but not sure about the slot settings. (i am new to this).

Off what i seen i just thought it was going to be a case of push card in and "sorted", but this was not the case, so i checked settings and then ?????????????????

Please help as i can't find a guide or any info on this, there are some clever people on this forum hope one of you can point me in the right direction

Cheers m8, looked all over the forum and can't believe i missed it, thought things had to be worded more carefully here but that's champion. All that's left is the option at the top of slot settings, guessing it will be the one with the correct amount of digits, hope so anyway. Thanks again

Had a quick bash at it and 90% there but didn't get time to try much else with the card slot. Got s*y one etc but not movies/sport but remember reading about this, then they all went off..... Give it another go soon and hopefully have more knowledge about it.

Im not sure if you'll get premium channels working, I think it will just get the normal sub channels, just as if you put your card in another SkyTV digibox that the card isnt paired to... I might be wrong though...

I think you have to periodically put the card in a SkyTV digibox so it gets keys update on it (somthing like that) maybe that happened whilst you were using the card in your F3...

Thanks for the reply. The card is all up to date as it is in the proper s*ybox 99% of the time. This was just trying out the feature. I believe the card gets updated about every 5 weeks or so. Worked out the boxkey number and entered it but don't know if the other setting are right and not sure what else is involved as i can't find a sbf3 guide for this only old dreambox. Hope i'm on the right tracks and this was how i understood it.
