    Skybox F3 Homeplugs setup

Can anyone help me with this.

I can't seem to get the Homeplug connection working. My CCCam is just saying Offline and the light at the back is flashing Orange. I thought Homeplugs were a simple matter of plugging into Ethernet, Pairing and away you go.

I'm using TP Link and have the same set up on my VU Duo and that works a treat.

        Tp Homeplugs

        Hi
I have the F3 and tp-link 500mgb homeplugs had a bit of trouble connecting at first,I got told the trick is to set them both up in the same room using a computer at initial set up..
Install the utility program and they should become live ,the orange light on the back of the box means that the connection only 10 mgbs but thats fine for F3 signal(should also be a green light there too)..
        Hope this helps
        Regards grousebeater

I found with mine that out the box DHCP was turned off so even if the lights were flashing on the back I had to turn DHCP on in the networks menu before it would pick up the correct IP.

I am also about to setup my skybox F3 with homeplugs as find the wifi dongle keeps dropping signal.

Anyone had any success with homeplugs and the F3?

this box is not linux so will drop the internet when not being used on a pay channel using a dongle, as soon as you go back to a pay channel it will pick it up again.
