576 to 1080

I have the openbox s11 and can't change from 576i hd to 1080 hd,my tv is a new Sony Bravia 1080 hd tv so does anybody know how to get it switched over?

Go into the settings on your box and change it, or press the Vformat button on the remote until you get the desired output...

I tried them both mate and it just keeps flicking between 480 and 576, does this mean I can't get 1080 mate or does anybody else know any information on this?

Have you got HDMI lead plugged into your box and TV, and are you using the correct HDMI input source on the TV?

Yeah mate,I set up my mates skybox f3 and noticed tht it went straight on2 1080 and then tried my openbox s11 and it won't go on2 it,does the openbox s11 definitely work on 1080 tv's?

Yes, they do 1080i.... Have you got RGB selected in the box display settings? If you have, change it to the other (cant rightly remember what the other option is, something like YUV or summat) then see if you can now select 1080i
