Hi guys, bought a box, now not sure what to do

I bought an Openbox S11 from a trader called Sealions.tv bak in April. I have been busy since and not had time to set it up. There was now rush as I was under contract with VM anyway.

I bought it with a 12 month gift. I think the box should be set up, no need to flash but do I need to enter the Cline details?

I cant get hold of the guy at Sealions, he never answers! I plugged it in when I first got it and was only getting channels 1-4 or 1-5 I think....

Does the guy at Sealions need to be providing Cline details do you think?

if a gift, means he should of already had the line in the box for u , all you would have to do is scan sat, plug in network, job done

So if the line was already in, why wouldnt it have picked up Sky Sports etc when I plugged it in last time? What do I do to scan it?

just go into menu, go to sats make sure 28.5 is ticked then go to sat scan and run blind scan, should all come in,

I dont want to be a doubting Thomas here but I think the reason you can't get a hold of the guy is probably due to the fact that he's phecked off and shut down his server.

Before doing a scan press favourite button to see if more channels listed in there If not like it has been said in other posts do a tp scan, but before that go into cline and check if its on line if it is back it up to usb in case you lose it scanning also I take it that your box is connected to the net..

Not all channels there though. No MUTV or Setanta for example. Do have all 4 Sky Sports though?

have a look at the favorites all sat see if there there mate , might not have been put in your favs, some channels might not b in your gift, if they are rescan and look again

glad it is working although why not load a channel list and i use the guys ones and never a problem

i find if you scan them your self you end up with a lot of duplicates and ones that don?t work

be gratefull you have those as people who sell pre-configed gift boxs for uktv are usually con-men who shaft everyone and are to be avoided at all costs as its these people who will bring about the demise of cs in all its forms sooner rather than later,regards mdt
