    Openbox s9 or skybox f3

Going to buying either a openbox s9 or skybox f3
Wanted to know can skybox f3 use openbox firmware and channel list
Is skybox same layout as openbox
Or should I get a different box which is similar to openbox
Ideally what to get another openbox s9 but heard good things about f3 boxs so thought I'd ask

dont think u can use openbox firmware on f3 u can use the the channel lists tho. not sure about the f3 layout but i think its just the same as openbox X3, which looks a lot better than openbox

Skybox f 3 and m3 are virtually the same box ( m3 is smaller) and use the same firmware. Of the two f3 although people don't like the position of usb port on front, seems to have the more favourable reports. M3 random rebooting when subtitle pressed both boxes
have reportedly powered off when using epg function. The newer september firmware addresses these issues tho they are less common in the f3. I see on official site that f3 & m3 firmwares are noted seperate from q3 & x3 which gives the assumption they aren't interchangeable

Get the official dongle it's easy to set up but you will have the problem of time out .When you enter security key almost always you get error timeout unable to connect. There's no proven reason as to why (tho many have theories that's all they are) but when it happens reboot the box on the timeout message and it'll connect .I'd suggest using the august firmware release as it greatly reduces the amount of dropped connections you get, it happens about once a month with mine.Skybox have been tweaking their chipsets lately to steer you away from other brands of dongle.

ok its going to put in someone room who isnt every good at sort technology out
so i think might be best to get home plugs instead unless if i get them a openbox an the ethernet and usb wifi bridge adapter
that might work better and might not lose connection all the time

Homeplugs would be best, f3 doesn't agree with wireless bridge, and the ali 3601 chip will only support single usb connection all said tho hd picture is good cheap and cheerful box does the job
