lost audio s11 help required

How do folks, wondering if anybody can help, or has had this problem?
The audio on a genuine s11 over the last few days has been getting weaker and I was having to turn volume up to full blast just bearly hear it and now has finally gone alltogether. the picture quality is fine but no sound, I have rebooted several times but still no sound. Does this mean that new firmware has to be put on ?? or is there a simpler solution, I have spent ages googling & searching sites without luck, I would appreciate any help at all. Thanks in advance

Are you just using the TV volume control? Have you also got the volume setting on the Openbox itself turned up? Are you using HDMI connection?

I have used both handsetsets (tv & reciever) they werw up to max but no sound, I am using scart lead as do not have hd tv, never had any problems, had box 5 months, only started to loose sound last couple of days

Seamouse you are a star m8, replaced scart and sound back to normal, not sure why original scart should have stopped working though ,,, but many thanks would never have thought of that
