i presume you have a motorised dish for your system and not a fixed dish.each sat would need a scan or bouquet used to bring up a working list of channels.welcome to dk.

I am totally new to all this stuff and im trying to do exactly the same thing. I have a Skybox F3 currently setup for Sky UK which is the only satellite that shows up in the satellite list following the firmware update. I have a Non motorised dish so i have fitted a second LNB to my current static dish and pointed it to 19.2E to hopefully pick up Astra 1. Are there any config files around that have the European satellites on them that i can simply upload to the Skybox to add them or do i have to add the satellites manually ? If i have to add them manually what settings etc do i need for LNB Frequency etc ? I have read some posts that say to set it to Universal however when setting up the satellite manually Universal isnt an option it just says 3620, 5150 or 5750.

Any help would be greatrly appreciated !

              1. You need to manually enter 19.2e as a new satellist in the list menu, its easy, just use teh remote to enter the 19.2e, then on LNB frequency press ok, this will give you a dropdown menu, select the universal range to match you LNB, or just the same as the freqency for 28.2e sat settings.

              2. To operate two LNB's you need a disseqc switch 1.0/1.1 or 1.2, any version will work fine.

                Nope,

No work around, you want foreign sats, you need a motor to move said dish to correct positions to allow view of such foreign sats.

You could i guess get a couple of more sats without a motor but it's just as expensive & more fiddly.

go into menu ,find your sat list (sky) add sat type in 019.2 name astra, make sure you TICK the box, also make sure you change the lnb freq to 9750-10600 universal same for all sats your adding hope this helps.

hi sohailqueshi, you can buy an extenstion arm to add more lnb,s ,but not really worth doing, lnb,s ?10-?15 ebay, lnb switch and more cable ,a technomate motor is only ?30 to ?40 on ebay and depending where ypu are ,you should get 42.east to 30 west you also need 90cm dish or bigger, if you want two sats 19 east -13 east you can buy a twin lnb,?15-?20

                        Dear Badboy 1965

I recently bought Skybox F3 and had similar query.

I tried setting up a satellite with the details but the options in front of LNB are only as follows:
                        3620, 5150, 5750.

which one should i go for?

also am i keeping both diseqc1.0 and diseqc1.1 as "disabled"?

                        Many Thanks
                        Aman

You need to be more specific in your query for anyone to help you.

                          1. What satellites are you trying to add?
                          2. What is your dish setup? fixed dish or motor?

go into your menu click on installation then antenna setup then go to lnb setup click it to the left or right and skroll through
                            you should find these
                            3620,5150,5750,5950,9750,10000,10050,10450,10600,1 0700,10750,11050
                            11200,11250,11300,11690,5150-5750,5750-5150,universal-9750-10550,9750-10600,9750-10700,9750-10750
you should use (9750-10600) hope this helps.
