I recently bought an open box connecting to Thaicom satellite. I bought it after reading about how CCCAM can be configured to get paid channels without actually getting the subscription card. If I could get the card though I would use it as my first choice.
After doing some research I copied some clines I found online, then updated the cline list on the receiver using the update using usb option. After restarting the box I notice that the encrypted channels remain scrambled and the clines are either offline or switches between Login and Online/Offline. This indicates two possibilities, either there is some configuration I did not do correctly or the clines are not for Thaicom.
Here is my question to all: Is there a way I can get a cline that will work for Thaicom? I understand that one person can use one at a time hence it would be ideal to get one that only I can use. Currently I have not been able to find anything conclusive, subscriptions seems to be receiver based but in my case I already purchased the receiver.
