    Having problems with my openbox

    Hi all,

having problems with the 'no signal' problem with my openbox. have updated all the firmware, reset it to factory settings. even cut off an inch of the cable at either end (dish & stb) to no avail.

i'm starting to think it could be the box, is there any way that I could check for sure ? all the equipment is under a year old. another reason why i think it could be the box is because even though it's connected up to the network, it's telling me it's offline.

any help will be gratefully received (as it's doing my nut in)

    cheers,

tried the re-scanning, it gives me all the channels but when I go through them they're all coming up 'no signal'.

i'm thinking it's the box as my 'c-line' reports as being 'offline'.

(apologies in advance if I'm not supposed to mention c-line)

all the channels are coming up 'no signal', can't try another box as I'm not at home - I may take the box home with me to check it out.

Did you delete all the channels before you rescanned.

Sealion offline will give you "Scrambled"

On BBC 1 (Strong signal channel) try pressing the info button on the remote three times and it should give you details of the signal strength
If its below 45% "No Signal" will be displayed. Anything over and the Strength and Quality will show as a coloured % scale.
