Help plz new openbox s11

Hiya guys received my new openbox s11 today I had it all working apart from the channel list. A mate said he could sort it by updating the firmware in doing this turned out he has installed a very old firmware an now the network settings are not there, I politely asked him to leave it and go away . I have tried some other firmware versions but none of these seem to bring the network settings area back. Does anyone have a firmware version with this on or any advice plz.

When you're in the settings menu, press 6666 on the remote, et voila...

You never have to load/change firmware to load or change your channel list, a channel list is a seperate entity, theres a good few here to download and try out....

Thanks mate I'll give that a try. What firmware version does this work with and what firmware is the latest/best?

Just stick with what you've got on it already, only change firmware if something isnt working properly...

Looks like the box was a clone box and after reading up looks like its dead because it's be switched off 10 times (people messing with it while iwas at the match) I have read threads on bringing it back to life with a null modem cable but seems unlikely to work with a USB adapter and I don't have a desktop pc so is there any point in me buying a cable to try??

just set up opembox s11 for match and trying to input firmware which is .rar box is asking for .abs can't get any further can any body help as Im lost Many thanks.

you have to unpack the rar file with a programme something like winrar. you will then find the abs file you are after. also firmware alone will not give you the match!
