    Recording on Skybox F3 HD???

Hi i have the Skybox F3 HD and i am wondering how i can record, i have heard you can attatch a usb memory stick to the box to record but how is this done?

Also there is no 7 day epg on the box, is there anyway to get this up?

Could i link my old Sky HD box to the skybox f3 HD via the 'loop' and therefore record on the sky hd box?

anything else out there that i can use along with the skybox f3 HD to get a 7 day epg up, and record set times/programs etc?

    Thanks.

You can attach a USB stick or Hard Disk to record onto, either press Record on the remote or set a timer on the box to record..

    Unfortunately not

The loop out is only a passthrough of the signal from the dish, its not a video output.

        How to check recording schedule

I can set things to record and play them back in the Media Player. How do I check what I have set to record?
I am after seeing a list of programs I have set to record.
        I have a Skybox M3.

        Any advice welcome.

Found the answer to my own question. You go to Timer Settings to see list of programmes set to record.

I was about to reply with that.
I'd forgotten that the open/sky boxes could record like this - and it really is a useful feature. Being able to set once only or daily recordings (the only thing that is missing is being able to do weekly) is great ... I use the skyguide for programme times, it kinda works!
