Scooby Snack

Im getting my F3 box tommorow and was wondering what people think of scooby snack firmware?

They put the standard firmware on t straight out of the box but it was either normal F/W or Scoobys?

Not sure what to do for the best?!?!

Dont worry about what firmware is on it... Just use the box, put a channel list on it if you need to, then watch TV... Only be thinking about changing the firmware if something isnt working quite right...

Ok cheers, I thought that scooby was a bit more sophiscated that other firmwares but i suppose i should use the most up to date.

Theres another website on here that will let you download it, pm me if you need to know the location saj.

There is much newer firmware on the same site as Scooby - look for Next Generation2, that site also has regularly updated channel lists too.

Other than having a channel list already within either the scooby or NG2 firmware, how is it different to the firmware you can download direct from manufacturers website?

I gather that as the firmware isnt open source, there is no difference... So its safe to assume that the scooby snax and ng2 firmwares are nothing more than the manufacturers firmwares with just a custom Background image and channel list within them...
