I tried it in my dads house and its exactly the same. I have also tried the code in my dads box and it works so not the code either. I used a usb flash to install the firmware, then installed the c line using the usb flash too and activated it and rebooted the box. it just says offline.

I don't give up too easily but its a basic box with not too many settings and i think i have tried everything. I have even dumped the firmware from my dads box that is working perfectly and tried it and the same outcome.

The box was working fine, then i flashed new firmware and it was working fine but when i flashed the tp_prog and rebooted, it stuck on LOAD and since then, has never connected properly yet it can find my router wirelessly and allow me to enter the pass key but still not connect.

Thanks for all the suggestions though guys!!

Have you tried the CCcam.cfg on your dads stb? I ask because it sounds like thats your problem and the update may have well been a coincidence.

I had the exact same problem as you and put it down to a scan I did at the exact same time the cline went offline.

Right cline is fine then, agreed.

Open cccam.cfg on your USB stick with notepad and make sure theres no hash signs in it. They block clines.

          2. Qs

Are you doing this through LAN or wireless?

Your stb is or is NOT working in your dads?

Its a pain, I was in the same boat last week.

The case may well be that your STB is banned from the server for using multiple stb logins. Worth asking who you got the lines of.

Or try going to your routers webpage and disabling the WPA thus allowing network logon with no credentials required.

            Hi,

The CCcam.cfg file contains only the c line and nothing else. I'm connecting through ethernet although i have tested with wifi and it found wireless connections, just never connected the c line.

the box doesn't work at my dads either so I think this means that the cause of the fault is with the box itself and not my internet or router.

Everything on the box seems to be working perfectly except the c line connecting

Perhaps the box ID is banned from the server for being used with multiple logins mate.

                Could be the case.

Could be, I'll see if i can get a c line from a different server from somewhere and try that.

Still haven't get this problem sorted and it really annoying. The c line hasn't been banned and is working fine, just not in my box. when i try to connect using wifi, the router is found but connection times out when the wpa key is entered. but its not the settings on the router because it does no connect via ethernet either.

I think my box is just a freeview box now .
