Skybox F3 subtitle and display problems...

I have the F3 and after approx. 2 hours use, if the the Subtitle button is pressed it switches the box off and then auto restarts. The only way I found to get the subtitles button working as it should, is to unplug the box for a few hours, but the problem remains.
Also, the screen will occasionally be covered in tiny orange spots, a bit like static interference, which are only clearly visible on black or dark backgrounds. I discovered a temporary fix is to unplug the HDMI for a few seconds, but the problem can return intermittently.
Just wondered if anyone knew how to fix.

Thanks for the replies. I was running Scooby Snack, would that cause the problems. I have reverted back to the original and latest F3 firmware [SKYBOX F3_M3_WIFI_3601HD_CMT_12092004D1.abs] so I will see if it makes any difference.

I also use the excellent AJ's Sky Channel List but since reverting to the original firmware, the Favourite list is now numbered 1 to 23 instead of named groups. Is this because it only works with Skooby Snack?

        Update:
Solved the problem of no named groups in AJ's channel Favourite list. Just erased the user channels in Factory Setting and the channel groups are back!

Still waiting to see if display interference has stopped and the subtitle button keeps working normally, so far its OK.

          Update:
Correction to my last post: Reinstalling original firmware has made no difference as the display interference is back. Any advice appreciated.
