Hi to you all I'm sorry if going about this the wrong way but here is my question
I'm a complete newbie to all this satellite watching Stuff I currently have a subscription with virgin, Media but I have seen several boxes on eBay
1 a skybox f3 it says with local channel list does this mean you can watch the sky channels ie cartoon network UK gold etc and do you need to subscribe to anything else I'm not bothered about all the channels just want something to use in the children's rooms without incurring a massive cost .again sorry If this is wrong way to go about it as I'm at a loss to all this kind of thong

If the Skybox F3 only costs about 50 quid, then it will come to you as a Free to Air receiver, you'll get no subscription channels, to get more channels would mean subscribing to something else...

If the Skybox F3 you buy costs you over 100 quid then it would probably come to you preconfigured to receive more than just Free to Air channels, sellers of these usually mention it comes with a "Gift"..

If you just want a simple easy to use "plug n play" receiver for the kids to use without having to worry about anything else after buying it then you might be better just buying a proper Freesat Box or Freeview box from Argos for them to use...

if you already have a sub on your main tv from vermin its only ?6 pm extra a think for a second multi-room box . regards mdt
