new here and need help with a firmware update

To load firmware on the F3/F5 you just place the image on a USB stick plug this into the box and select the USB menu and Upload select which file you want by pressing left or right in you case choose the image file tab and then press ok to flash

3.When play Invalid program, show "Invalid program" instead of "Scrambled".

Will this update Media Player to enable DTS? Can only play AC3 currently.

Going to answer my own question..no it doesn't...have a download with 3 languages, 2 are in dts with one of those being English and Flemish is in AC3...will just have to learn Flemish!

My previous Firmware called scooby snacks I think also contained the channel list so also had to load a PROG_TP.dbs file to get channels list after I flashed with the Firmware above. I used AJ's from the thread in the sticky, looks ok but the Favourites aren't named. Will try a few and see what one I think best.

Great site though, really helpful especially for a Newbie.

Will this update Media Player to enable DTS? Can only play AC3 currently.

I converted the mkv with dts to mkv with AC3.

I used Popcorn MKV Audio Converter DTS to AC3 but AviSynth 2.5 was also recommended.

I'm also assuming that I can take an audio feed from the F3 to my Bluray players speakers or an amp?
