    2 openboxs

    Hi,
i have 2 openboxes and only one will work, the second box gets freeview for me but everything else is scrambled. if i take the box to a friends house it works perfectly!

Any suggestions gratefully received, its my first post so please be gentle!

Is it the same server sub line on both and are you trying to use both boxes at the same time?

Is it 2 different subscriptions? Or 1 subscription replicated onto 2 boxes?

Setting up two boxes would be the same as setting up 1, but doing it twice...

          Hi nibblitz,
2 different subscriptions mate, the box from the front room works the back room does not. if i take the one from the front room to the back it works the other does not work in the front room. if i take it to my friends house it works fine so i am sure the settings are OK. i am assuming that i need to set it up differently for two subscriptions? The subscription provider does not know what is going on either!
Do any ports need forwarding do you know?
          Thank you

            Possibly a clash of IP's.

Check the ip's of both boxes, if they are the same that will cause a problem.

OK, thank you for all your replies.
i think i have sussed this, i am using MGcamd and there is an option for complex set up instead of single installation! Trying it now so will let you know if it sorts it.

Right, basically balls up on my part, had 2 single subscriptions instead of one dual subscription! On the plus side this costs me less. Thank you for all your replies.
