S10 Problem...Please help

My brother has got a S10 working perfectly fine...however he has obtained a 2nd one which for some reason will not 'un-scramble'.

The box works fine at my home but when he tries to use it in his house as a 2nd box it will only show FTA channels, it has a dedicated access subscription and all the settings appear to be ok.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Please make them simple...as we are simple people .

Is he running it off a splitter ie from a single feed from the lnb m8.................

Single dedicated feed from LNB...everything is as if it is a single install including separate ethernet supply from router...checked ip address and shows different from other box

If its only a single feed it must be split to run 2 boxes if thats the case it wont work because of the vertical and horizontal signals.............

Sorry i didn't explain clearly...its off a multiple LNB with its own dedicated supply...not off a single LNB to both boxes

Slight progress...we have managed to get both boxes working...but not at the same time...they work perfectly well as long as it is only 1 at a time as soon as you switch the 2nd box on neither box will un-scramble

Hi is the Cline the same on both box's ???

Do you have 1 subscription or 2

When you say (it has a dedicated access subscription) for each box or 1 box

I have a subscription for each box with a different cline for each box

In network local settings, DHCP make sure both boxes are set to off .
