Personally I tried and didnt have any luck yet.

      Vodafone - No Signal

O2 - Signal 26-28 (tries to register but fails)
      AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","mobile.o2.co.uk",""
      *99#

Orange - Shows Signal 22-23 (Register Fails)
      AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","orangeinternet"
      *99#

I know there are some people who've had luck with O2 and t-mobile, pls share the settings with us.

after getting a skybox f4 and wanting to use the gprs when away from home ,i did some searching and found these settings and they do both work with a signal strength of 14 and slight glitching but still very watchable.

O2 settings for payg data sim:-
                          init cmd
                          AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","m-bb.o2.co.uk"
                          dial
                          ATDT*99#
                          ----------------------------------------------------------
                          giffgaff payg sim settings:-
                          init cmd
                          AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","GIFFGAFF.COM"
                          dial
                          ATDT*99#

hope these help with your efforts and good luck
