    skybox f3 keep scrambled

    - connect via wired.
    - dchp OFF/ON = same shit
    - tv screen keeps showing scrambled despite signal quality being close to 76%-80%.
    - after leaving it for awhile, skybox starts to reboot by itself a number of times.
    - I don't think the wired connection has any problem since i was able to watch utube videos using the youtube app.

wtf is wrong with it? And what does the LAN TOOL for?

Is this a channel list you have scanned and made yourself or one downloaded from here, like aj's channels list? The lan tool is so you can send files directly from your computer to the openbox instead of using the usb.
If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

Where can I find this lan.tool?

Btw the scrambled message appears because your server maybe.rubbish, I had same issue, I tried a free test line and.problems gone, at first I thought it was my box, but it's not.

If you watch subscription channels u must be connected to a server, if you have issues on free to air channels then box is faulty

You should get free to air channels, if they work then your box is fine and i would recommend you read through 'a lot' of the forum threads as to opening other channels using softcam or cccam. You could even try google as there is limits to how much can be said on here
