s10 clone channel list

hi i have recently got an s10 openbox, i suspect it is a clone, can i put a channel list on it ok, i have heard not to touch the fw on clone boxes, is that right.

Channel list, no problem... Firmware you gotta be careful...

And be aware that some people upload what they call a channel list, but its actually a system dump (firmware) with the channel list within it..

cheers, what do i need to look out for(filename of what) to make sure it is only the channel list that will be updated

Firmware is usually around 2.4mb file size when in a zip or rar, and is about 4mb when unpacked and have a *.abs file extension

Channel lists are usually around 100k file size, and when unpacked from the zip or rar they have a *.dbs file extension...

my audio is also out of sync and i think i haveto up date fw to sort it. there is one in the download section here that says clone safe, is there clone safe fw
