Openbox s11 network problems

Hi guys, seem to be having a problem with my openbox s11, since thursday i have had nothing but scrambled channels, if i check my router i cannot see the openbox listed, dhcp is on on the s11 but that doesnt seem to make a difference.

I have tried restarting the router and the box but that didnt work.

Any help would be great.

are you getting bbc 1,bbc2,itv,channel4,and is your nline or cline been entered correctly and have you saved these lines?
and if using cline have you put a tick by high lighting cline and pressing enter to activate it and rebooting box?

My friend also has same problem with S10. I check it. does not respond to DHCP. Ping box not successful. Tried on different network. not ok.
I suspect the LAN board to be faulty. This is a pluggable unit. Need to get one from a working box to test

Yes the fta channels work ok, the cccam file does have a tick next to it, before thursday the box has been working fine for the past 6 month.

What you suggest i have done, i did not change anything on thursday, i received a message from my friend saying all channels are scrambled apart from the fta channels, i checked my box to find it had the same problem.

I will also add that it seems that the ethernet light on the back of the box is not showing anything but the router light does light up.

Where can i get a good working cline? Do you guys have a specific provider, if so please do tell me what, i've been looking around for a good cline, everything advertised has been poo.

what internet provider are you with?,sky,talk-talk, virgin,etc.
may have rellevance,let us know.

Im with bt, it cant be them as its been working fine for the past 4 month, i have a friend who has the s11 who is with utility warehouse and is having the same problem as me, cam shows as offline but fta channels work, both stopped working on thursday which is a very strange coincidence.

do you and your friend have a download monthly limit?,with your providers?,if you wish message me contact tel,so you can fully explain..thanks.

did you and your mate get your lines same day or off the same provider if so your sub either run out or server down you will get fta as long as box is connected to dish seems unlikley you and your mates lan ports would mess up at the same time

Sounds like server prob. Get in touch with your line supplier.

Turned out to be the box, purchased a new f3 box and its all running fine again, the problem with my friends was the subscription had run out.
