    changing channel number...possible?

    hi experties...

does anyone know how to change channel number (index number) using alieditor / seteditorhd100 / any other program?

    for example:
    index: 1___service name: TV1
    index: 2___service name: TV2
    change to:
    index: 101___service name: TV1
    index: 102___service name: TV2

i want to make them standard with my country's pay tv. the channel number starts with 101 and down to 900 something. here's the details: http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/astro_chno.html

    thanks for your help.

I found the best way is to use Setedit100 & create a dummy channel then keep pasting a copy of it into the first 100 indexes for the satellite you are indexing, also pad out the missing channels to keep the numbers in sync, I have done this with 28.2e & my openbox will get the correct channel using the Sky channel numbers.

My list is 'work in progress' at the moment as I am developing a more friendly bouquet system for the International channels (see my post entitled 'Help needed for upcoming.....')
