Skybox F3 timer settings?

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been posted before but i cant find it.

I just got a skybox F3 and its working well but i dont know how to set up the timer to record something.
I can press record and alls well. I just dont know how to set up the timer.
Also if i set up the timer do i have to leave the box turned on?
And can you watch a different channel while recording another?

Hi press epg on channel you wish to record,right arrow through list( sly only now and next if you have euro channels fuller list appears)press green button to bring up timer .timer mode right arrow select once or daily.timer service right arrow select record otherwise all it will do is change to that channel at selected time.wake up channel leave it at the one you are on.wake up date is self explanatory.duration has chosen time of selected show but you can adjust that if live event or you you want to start earlier(good idea if channels are slow to load on set up)
