With all the various openbox versions and upgrades out there, might be a useful idea to organize them along with firmware versions and differences in a sticky thread.
I owned an Openbox S9 a long time ago and I know since then we've reached S16 missing a few numbers in between. We also have the M3, X3 and F3 type numbering variants with skybox branding. You also had so
emnd hd branding (mainly in US) and also s9 sub versions with upgraded remotes.
I think it would be useful for newbies and old veterans a like to have all the versions including different brands listed in one place with links to the compatible firmwares for those receivers. as long as we know they use different firmware, i think we could assume it is a different receiver, if they use same firmware it is the same receiver, either rebranded or cloned. Is that right?
