Merge two TP_PROG.DBS files?

Hey guys,

Is it possible to merge two tp_prog.dbs together?

I have a huge list of foreign sats/channels, but want to use Ajs channel list for Sky UK...

I've played around with the channel editor on the second post of AJs chennel list thread, but it doesn't seem to have the ability to copy data from one tp_prog to another, or to merge two together.

I've searched the net and forum but can't find an answer.

Any help would be appreciated.

mediabox editor studio,but it has a 1000 tp limit which for euro users is kind of restrictive.

Thanks for the info. Had a play around with it briefly, but couldn't see openbox/skybox on the import option.

Any advice on how to import the two tp_progs in etc?

you have to import or export as ali gen nocas
(ali generic setting)

I can import the dbs file, but I'm lost as to how to import two dbs at once, or whatever needs to be done to merge them!

Any further advice/instructions you can give on how to actually merge and export as a tp_prog.dbs?

import then import again,it will ask you if you want to add to the original file.

Ha, yeah I forgot what I couldn't do.. it was a few weeks back.

I basically have my tp_prog which has loads of sats/channels in. I want to use AJs channel list for skyuk..

So I need to remove sky/replace it with ajs.

The other bit I couldn't see was how to export it as a .dbs file.

but this gives you a UDF file? Doesnt it need to be a .dbs?

the rs232 loader or alieditor uses .udf files.
If you really need the .dbs file you can make one.
Stbhdeditor came with a split/merge program that will split the .udf file from a .dbs and vice versa.
The split program splits the .udf from a .dbs and also a .rom file.You would take your edited .udf and merge it with the .rom file to make a .dbs
