    upgrade from S10

    Hi guys,

currently have an Openbox S10, but would appreciate any suggestions on a new box to replace it.

New one needs to have scart (for connecting to rf modulator fed to a distribution amp), and be able to operate motorised dish ok.

Current S10 does the job OK (apart from the lack of scart) and have been quite pleased with it (occasional freezes excluded!).

Should I go with a different model Openbox, or is there anything better out there in a similar price bracket?.

yeh, was looking at the S11 as it seems the most straight forward 'like for like' swap, and the user interface etc will be familiar.

Any advantage in adding an extra 50 quid or so to get something better do you think?

If you want to spend around 50 quid, then the Openbox X3 is one of the latest models with flashier menu system and wifi support, it has Scart output on it too...

Yep, just had a look at it online and think that's the one to go for.
          Cheers for that nibblitz, appreciated.
