    Hi

You need to try different timings and also are you using a dedicated com port.

    Regards

      What do you mean?
I have done that, as soon as I turn the box on the 'Synchronizing STBs' say its done in a matter of seconds.
I tried turning the box on at different times after and before hitting the next button.

      Sorry i have a s11 not s10.

        Hi

Are you using a dedicated com port. Also if you try with last known firmware that was on the box.

Sometimes its a matter of perseverance.

There is a thread on here that goes into it in more detail.

        Regards

Yup its a null modem cable. its detecting the box i know, because as soon as it turns on the program synchronizes however set stb memory error.

how do i set up the program the stb erom upgrade 2.0.0c is set up like this:

                  Port: COM1
                  Parity: Even
                  Bit Rate: 115200

I went to the device manager and matched those settings.

Been trying all this time and no luck at all! Shall I just give up?
                      Any other better loaders?

stb memory error is either wrong version loader or turning the receiver on too fast.

                            fixer

choose the 5-5.abs and tick include bootloader.
