Skybox S12 and PC Modem Connection

Hello all, I have a Skybox S12 which runs perfect however I am having problems when i try and use a splitter between to Skybox and my PC which I have just brought back into action.
Skybox works fine when that is just connected, as does the PC however when i put a splitter into my Talk Talk router it will not work? any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

You cannot split an ethernet connection. Using a splitter will allow you to change device but not use both devices at the same time.

Has the TalkTalk router only got one ethernet port?

You could buy a 4 port adsl of the bay for less than a tenner.

Probably get it for 8 quid offer.

TalkTalk may do cheap broadband but they cut corners with the router in the hope it will limit your use.
